Alan Yates Band captures audiences with tales of vivid melody and contemplation. Stylistically, their eclectic brand of music is a straight ahead plugged in sound that is bold, charming and unpredictable.



After years of working with Indie and mainstream bands including Collective Soul, White Stripes, Sister Hazel, Shawn Mullins and Sir Elton John, Alan Yates moved from behind the scenes to center stage with his own collection of original rock tunes. Alan`s 2003 self-produced CD Mint Condition received strong critical acclaim and helped establish him as one of Atlanta`s emerging singer/songwriters. His songs portray personal stories of life and relationships set to a sound that captures the imagination. After playing many of the top venues in the area, Alan established a dedicated regional fan base which in turn earned him a spot on the coveted Rock Boat. His upcoming release Red features a straight ahead plugged-in sound that is anything but predictable. Alan`s eclectic style quenches the thirst for something different, and it`s flavor is Red.
